Hey there! I’m Ashlee York and Welcome to my page of photos!

Photography has always been an interest of mine. I have always enjoyed capturing special moments and looking back at them for memories to share and remember. I really started to get into photography when I was in high school and took a few photography classes. My parents helped spark my interest with getting me my first digital camera during high school. It was a simple GE point and shoot camera, but I took that thing everywhere. I took it with me on every family vacation, to every concert, to every special event and snapped away. I have kept all those pictures to myself and I haven’t touched my GE camera for a couple of years. Now, with the help of a Canon SL1 and a motivational push from Rick, I am restarting my interest of photography and sharing it with you. When I take pictures, I try to use whatever artistic eye I have to take something simple and view it in a way that might not have been viewed before. My inspirations for my pictures come from the landscapes and objects I take pictures of. Landscapes, animals, and nature are some of my favorite things to photograph as there is so much beauty in what is around us. No matter where we are, we just have to find the right angle to find the beauty in everything.
